                       A Short Biography

Think of him is a kindly way

                          well disposed and amiable

                          died of natural causes

                          old angel and many disappointments

from the arms of a devoted mother

(be careful when you cross the street

                          ever trust anyone at night)

                          he grew up alone

on motherly kisses and fatty food

                          his waist line bulged

                          at an early age

                          tee-dum tee-dum

                          tee-dum tee-dum

lost it all when he went to war

waved the flag to all concerned

                          thankful he was still alive

                          Then God came to him

                          on a stormy night

                          shape up old buddy

                          or else

                          he went to Wall Street

                          made a pile

                          everybody called him sir

                          begat a few children

                          who live to inherit

                          his obituary was very kind

                          respected member etc etc

                          tee-dum tee-dum

                          tee-dum tee-dum

                          never missed an appointment

                          up to the end

                          His headstone

                          confirms his final engagement

                          legal and sealed

                          by a friendly coroner

attested to by a regal cortege

                          tee-dum dee-dum

                          tee-dum tee-dum
